This restaurant is amazing. Talia has created some of the best soups and sandwiches I have ever had. The zucchini spaghetti has a flavour and feel that is fabulous - full of tomatoes. Being a picky eater, she has been able to exceed all my expectations and is willing to go the extra mile. Everything is fresh and supports the '100 Mile' rule. I love it as do all my friends.

The restaurant might be good, but these folks are the worst caterers on the planet Earth. At a wedding recently with 140 people waiting to be fed, they brought maybe enough food for 50. Dinner was scheduled for 6 p.m. ... I ordered the elk... and by 930 p.m. I had had a bun, about three leaves of mixed greens (we shared a dinner-sized serving plate of salad amongst our table of 16), and about four small chunks of potato. That was it! That's all I got all night, and I think that was pretty much the case with more than half of the guests. There were three, maybe four staff in total working the event. They offered no explanation, no apology. When asked about where the food was, they were indignant. I still can't believe this really happened, and I feel awful for the bride and groom and their families. We still had a great time, it was a terrific wedding, and all the guests, despite their plummeting blood sugar levels, were gracious.

It has become the cornerstone of my week-end, Sunday just wouldn't be Sunday if I didn't go, now on my 6th time this simply is the best breakfast spot in the city, but get there early, due to its size it can seem a little crowded but the food more then makes up for it

I have now had my second experience with this restaurant and I have to say it is one of the rare jewels in this city.Fantastic food and great people.

The onion soup is the best I have ever had

I have been to the Tallest Poppy about 5 times. It is an unexpectedly good restaurant, on Main Street, at the corner of Main and Logan. The food is delicious, and the waitstaff friendly. I have enjoyed each meal I had there, and their bison burger, with carmelized onions is spectacular. Lunch is soup, salad and sandwiches, but beautifully prepared and delicious. Their specialty is a family style Sunday brunch, with courses served hot to your table for 14.95, plus coffee. It is always popular for brunch.
