Great asset to South Osborne. Great food, great owner and great service!!!! One of the best Italian restaurants in the city.

Saw the past two reviews before my first experience at Vesuvio, so I was a little weary about it. The space was very quaint and romatic. It was a busy week night and eventhough there was only one server our table was never neglected. My husband ordered chicken marsala and I had the Pollo Lina. Both were delicious and hot. The chef actucally served our food. He indroduced himself as the owner Adam and made sure that we enjoyed our meals after we were finished. That was a really nice touch, very unique. I am glad that the two negative reviews were wrong. We had and entertainment coupon and we had no problem using it, actually they didnt even puch out the number so we could use it again. We will definitly be supporting this restaurant and telling everyone we know what a wonderful time we had.

Amazing Pizzas and pasta dishes. I enjoy going to Vesuvio at least once a week and have always found it to be consistently great. My favourite dish is the fussili Rossini paired with the tuscan Proscuitto salad. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

I really did NOT like it there. The waitress was very rude to us. The food was not all bad but the terrible service put a really bad taste in our mouth.

Just returned home from a terrible experience at Vesuvios. Service was slow, it took 45 mins to get our food. When we did get our food it was nothing special. The restaurant wouldn't honor our entertainment coupon and they added in a 15% gratuity on our bill. Then when we complained to the head chef Adam, he told our party of 18 that he had enough of us and said we could leave.

I will tell everyone I know never to go to this restaurant.

Terrible experience, service slow and very rude, food is nothing to write home about. Never will I ever step food in that restaurant again
