We are blessed with several good Thai restauarants in Winnipeg, Magic Thai stands out for value as well as flavour. The kitchen is consistent, the staff are helpful and friendly. We go there 3 - 4 times a month. Great food for diabetics!

The decor and location are not the strength of this restaurant, but you will forget about that when you taste their food.

My wife and I go here regularly & love it. The ingredients are fresh & perfect. The service is also perfect. I have tried other Thai restaurants in Winnipeg & still think this restaurant is the BEST. I still regret spending my money on the other restaurant, I wish I cooked myself or went to the magic Thai. My favourite dishes are steamed mussel, egg plant..., and everything in the menu.

Magic Thailand has the best matsaman and peanut sauce I've ever tasted. their stuffed chicken wings are also yummy. When I left Winnpeg and moved to Vancouver 5 years ago, I missed it each time we went out for Thai food. I tried a lot of different restaurants in Vancouver and not one came close. I find other Thai restuarants water down the coconut milk in their curries and add extra veggies to make the portion look bigger.

I was looking for Thai takeout and came across this restaurant on this website. My family had been going to another one mentioned on this site which had a negative rating and I tended to agree but had no alternative. I tried Magic Thai and we all agreed that it will now be our Thai restaurant of choice. Though it is farther from our home to pick up the easy access and lack of traffic in the area make the trip about the same time and the people were friendly and appreciated our business.

Magic Thailand is one of my favourite restaurants. I have tried approximately 1/3 of the menu and have never been disappointed. I especially enjoy their green curry dishes in coconut milk. I have recommended this restaurant to friends, family, and visitors from out of town and they have never been disappointed. Excellent food!

I could eat there every day. I have to restrain myself from going there too much... It is a treat.

The food here is excellent. I love their green or red curry soup absolutely delicious. Most dishes are wonderful. Try their lettuce wrps.

Magic Thailand is somewhat of a hidden gem. It is on Logan and near the Arlington Street Bridge. The area is largely industrial with some lower end residential housing. There is rarily foot traffic and there is ample parking.

I have tried most of the menu and it is excellent. The food is both authentic and of excellent quality. The soup with the cocunut base that the person above is refering to is no doubt the red or green curry soup. Both are very rich and tasty - I have yet to meet a person that did not rave about these soups at Magic Thailand.

The menu is plentiful and there are other items not on the menu that you can ask for. All the dishes are good and there is a 1-10 heat level. Note that the heat level here is higher than at other local Thai restaurants and you should go down 1-2 levels that you are used to eating at.

Inevitably lunch time is busy and becoming busier. It seems that business and working people know of the restaurant and that at dinner there are not many things or residential property near. Therefore dinner time is less busy.

Having been in the Far East, this restaurant is a treat to have on the Canadian prairie. It a word...a fantastic restaurant.

Not sure which soup we had, but it as a coconut milk base and it was incredible. Nice and Spicy as well!!
