since my last review was somehow deleted from this site i will try again! we are regular customers who just love this restaurant. The staff treat us like family and the food is consistantly good. People have to understand that breadsticks are complimentary only when available as stated on the menu! The rest. is 5 years old, so of course things like plumbing fixtures may be outdated but everything is clean!

great food-best pizzas in town!

We are regular customers and always enjoy both the food and the service! The girls are cosistantly pleasant to us and treat us like family. I do not know of anywhere else in Winnipeg where you can get such huge portions for your money.

Right when you walk in the door, you are treated rudely. No smiles or happy service. It wasn't busy when we went but still waited a long time for a waitress to come to our table. No one would come to fill water or ask how things were once we received our food. The air conditioner was on and it was freezing there. I do not see how this place gets repeat customers. Went to the washrooms and I stopped once opening the door because I was afraid I might catch something there. The sinks had gross stuff in it, there were hand tissues everywhere on the floor and the toliet had old medical tape to hold it together which was yellowish in color. Where are the food and service inspectors in Winnipeg. This place is a DUMP!!!!!! I don't know how it is still in business. Yes, they might have had a good salad in the past, but this is not worth anyones time or money. We went for a special time out and it was shocking at how little this restaurant cares about the customers or how clean the restaurant is.

I have to agree on the service issue - this particular Sorrento's seems to have servers who get frustrated quickly.

The Sorrento Salad is a classic but they also have to loosen up on the no substitutions rules. Any modifications and it seems like a real hassle.

I have ordered take out from this Sorrento's more than once, food was okay. Dining in, my guests and I were very unimpressed. Not so much with the food but the service is terrible and we also found the staff to be very unfriendly. We would not go back.

Food quality is fair, portions are prices are good. The sorrento salad is excellent and caesar is often overly dressed. Pasta's are not made in house and can be quite bland however the pizza's are very good. Service is very poor and staff is not friendly at all.
