It must really be spring now. BDI's open. ...Yay!

BDI is a seasonal treat and tradition. Patrons happily stand outside, queuing up to place orders at low screened windows. There is an amazing menu with a huge list of flavours plus specialty treats... like the Goog Special, the Upside Down Blueberry Sundae, Sleeping Beauty and somewhere in the menu there is a concoction that involves half a cantelope. There are the standard toppings plus others like Saskatoon and peanut butter. You can have a regular or twist (vanilla and chocolate) ice cream cone dipped in your choice of dip with sprinkles or peanut bits.

If milk products and you don't get along, BDI has an alternative Dole Whip in the flavour of the day.

The Bridge Drive-In Aka the BDI to locals, its famous for its boggling menu of soft ice cream offerings, capped off by the magnificent, towering, multiple fruit, sauce and ice cream flavoured Goog Special a creamy blueberry ice cream shake, topped with chunks of banana, more ice cream, hot fudge sauce, peanuts, whipped cream and a cherry.
